Dale Wells is a Cushing High School graduate with the Class of 1964. He then attended Oklahoma State University for two years. In 1966 he married his high school sweetheart, Cheryl Fairley, making their home in Edmond, Oklahoma. This coming August, they will celebrate 60 years of marriage. They have two sons, Dr. Kevin Wells of Destin, Florida and Scott Wells, deceased. In addition, they have two granddaughters who live in Florida.
In 1970, Dale received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma, He worked in numerous management and executive management positions during his career. In 1966, he joined the Oklahoma Army National Guard, retiring as a full Colonel in 2000, with 34 years of service.
In 1993, Dale was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing Payne and eastern Logan Counties. He was unopposed for the next four election cycles and retired after 11 years of service to House District 33.
Dale and Cheryl moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma in 2005 and continue to make their home there.
